Oh, what a night indeed! Close on a thousand souls packed into Wicksteed Park on Saturday May 3rd for one of the most memorable nights any of us have ever been involved in.

Yes, it was great to see the old Freewheeler faces and yes The Real Thing were blinding but the sole aim of the evening was to raise funds for the family of DJ Lally who is currently battling bone cancer. Well we can report that an amazing £13,000.00 was raised, an amount that is going to be a tremendous help for the family in the difficult days ahead.

They are quite stunned and overwhelmed and now the target is for DJ to personally appear and thank all for their support. Hopefully he'll be able to join us when we're back at Wicksteed Park on August 16th.
