Check Out The Groove!

It doesn't seem that long ago since that balmy spring evening in 2006 when CHECK OUT THE GROOVE! opened for the first time at The Coral Greyhound Stadium in Hove.

There were just over 120 that night to witness the birth of a phenomenon that now attracts a 1,500 or so followers every month from a membership of nigh on 5,000. Many of these are from well beyond the borders of Brighton and Hove.

We don't get to see our Australian, American, French, Irish and other European members too often, but they are very much a part of this family.....and we love them all!!

CHECK OUT THE GROOVE! now takes place on the SECOND and LAST FRIDAY EVERY MONTH and we also do the occasional 'specials' at The Coral Stadium and other venues.

We now use two rooms for every session to allow us to cater for every taste of glorious Soul Music from the 60s, 70s and 80s and our kingpin DJs are still Big Clive Rayson and the effervescent King Jerry supported by a host of willing acolytes.
